My
Grandmother was a wonderful lady - always kind, thoughtful, caring, wise, humble,
hard-working, quiet. She loved children and they loved her. Children enjoyed visiting
Grandma's house because she didn't mind them making "tents" in the living room,
playing games at the kitchen table, or just "hanging out". She was an excellent
cook, (Her fried pies were the best and Her biscuits would melt in your mouth!) and there
were always cookies, pies, or cakes in Grandma's kitchen. She was an expert seamstress, a
gardener, an avid reader (having read thousands of books). She loved people, animals,
flowers, music and art. She is truly missed. |
